The coal powder air mixture is injected into the combustion chamber through the primary air nozzle of the burner.

   Another local air required for combustion is called secondary air. The secondary air passes through the conditioning baffle of the burner (swirl blade or volute) forms a rotating air flow, which gathers with the primary air at the burner outlet to form a rotating jet. The negative pressure formed by the jet center entrains the high-temperature flue gas to the flame root. This local high-temperature flue gas is the main heat source for pulverized coal ignition. The diffuser cone at the primary air outlet can increase the diffusion angle of the primary air to enhance the entrainment effect of the high-temperature flue gas.
